Technical Service Manager- Polymers

As a Technical Service Manager at Tricon, your role will involve providing technical support for safe and efficient PE/PP/GPPS/ABS product usage at the customer end. You will be responsible for developing technical solutions using products from Dow, Borouge, OQ, SABIC, Equate, and Lyondell Basell to meet customer requirements. Building and maintaining close relationships with customers, OEMs, and suppliers will be key in this role. Collaboration with the business team to stay updated on market trends and align with end user requirements is essential. Identifying and pursuing opportunities from cross-functional market development teams and analyzing customer/market needs for new product development/business opportunities are also part of your responsibilities. Handling customer complaints, providing suitable solutions, generating technical documents, and conducting technical trainings for the Tricon team, customers, and educational institutions are also important aspects of the job. Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Polymer Engineering or Plastic Engineering from a reputed college with a minimum of 70% marks or above (equivalent CGPA) - Minimum 5 years of experience in customer/product/application development, technical development, support R&D, and product testing - Minimum 5 years of experience in responsible roles in the Polymer industry, petrochemical industry, packaging industry, automobile industry, and compounding conversion industry - Experience in film and auto compounding formulation is preferred, especially in automotive, master batches, wire and cable industries - Experience in metallocene-based flexible packaging, PP compounding, HD/PP pipe, HD/LD wire and cable solution development - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English - Strong interpersonal skills and analytical capabilities - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required - Experience with HAOs (metallocene-based products), PP films, BOPP/cPP conversion, flexible packaging solution development, HD Pipe, wire & cable, automotive, and master batch formulation development, compounding, and molding troubleshooting would be advantageous.,
