We are seeking an accomplished Technical Project Manager to spearhead the end-to-end delivery of our cutting-edge Streaming Data Platform in the Big Data PSL India. This critical role demands a leader with a profound understanding of AWS data services , DevOps toolsets, extensive Agile project management expertise , and a proven history of successfully delivering large-scale, data-intensive solutions. Youll lead a diverse team of data engineers, solutions architects, and DevOps professionals to construct a platform that is both scalable and highly resilient, with robust security.
Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Management -
Project Leadership & Execution: Drive the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architectural design to deployment and post-launch support, for the streaming data platform.

Agile Project Management: Implement and manage project plans using Agile/Scrum methodologies , facilitating all key ceremonies to ensure team alignment and productivity.

Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and technical impediments, managing dependencies across multiple workstreams.

Resource & Budget Oversight: Ensure proper resource allocation and monitor project budget and expenditures.
Technical Strategy & Oversight -
Technical Planning & Strategy: Collaborate with solutions architects and lead engineers to define the platforms technical vision and roadmap, ensuring optimal leverage of AWS services for real-time data ingestion, processing, and analytics.

Technical Expertise: Provide guidance on the selection of core AWS services, including Solace, Kinesis, MSK, Lambda, Glue, EMR, S3, DynamoDB, Athena, and Sagemaker .

Quality & Security: Champion best practices for data governance, quality assurance, and security within the cloud environment.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting -
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison, articulating project status, timelines, risks, and dependencies clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Communicate Project Status: Regularly provide clear, concise, and accurate updates on project progress, milestones, and deliverables to all relevant stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units, and technical teams.

Manage Expectations: Clearly articulate project scope, timelines, and potential constraints to stakeholders, setting realistic expectations and managing changes effectively.

Ensure Transparency: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting, fostering transparency and accountability across the project lifecycle.

Facilitate Informed Decision-Making: Present data-driven insights and project performance metrics to empower stakeholders with the necessary information for strategic decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications -
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:
-
Minimum of 7 years in technical project management with experience in driving large programmes with multiple stakeholders.

5+ years of hands-on experience managing complex projects on the cloud platform .

Demonstrable experience leading the development of streaming data, big data, or real-time analytics projects.

Technical Skills: Deep understanding of the cloud ecosystem , DevOps CI/CD tools , hands-on experience with core data streaming and processing services, strong knowledge of data architecture principles (data modeling, ETL/ELT), and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform. Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.

Project Management Skills: Expertise in Agile and Scrum frameworks is mandatory, with a proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget for large-scale technical initiatives.

Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with excellent stakeholder engagement abilities.
Preferred Qualifications -
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty, AWS Certified Database Specialty, PMP, CSM/PSM.

Experience: Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/Amazon EKS) and a background in data engineering or software development.
