The role of Technical Project Manager is to lead a medium-sized team in designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust and scalable Transaction Profile framework. This framework is essential for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while optimizing operational efficiency. As a Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding BNPP Group against fraud, money laundering, and other financial crimes by leveraging advanced technologies and innovative solutions. Your position is critical in driving the technical vision, strategy, and execution of Banking Referential initiatives, thereby contributing to the overall risk management and integrity of the organization. You will be required to work in a globally distributed setup and lead and manage a medium-sized team. Your direct responsibilities will include leading the team in designing and contributing to the architecture of enterprise-level software solutions leveraging technology frameworks. You will design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure distributed architectures that are cost-effective. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to development teams on best practices, design patterns, and coding standards will be crucial. Additionally, you will perform design/architecture reviews, code reviews, and technology assessments to ensure adherence to BNPP CIB defined design/architecture principles and standards. It is important to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Java development, cloud computing, DevOps, and software architecture. You will lead automation efforts and guide teams to align with the shift left and shift right strategy by promoting an automation-first mindset to reduce manual efforts. In terms of technical and behavioral competencies, you should have a strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture. Hands-on experience in software development using Java/J2EE technologies, frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate), messaging (e.g., MQ), and RDBMS/SQL with Oracle, SQL server, or Postgres is required. Experience in caching technologies like Redis or Apache Ignite, troubleshooting & performance tuning using profiling tools, containerization, orchestration tools, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and serverless computing is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. An openness to learning and working on diverse technologies, languages, frameworks, and tools is expected. Nice to have skills include experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, Go), Business Process Management tools (e.g., Camunda), cloud-native solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect, and knowledge/experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, and Kafka. Industry-related certifications, e.g., TOGAF, are considered beneficial.
