Technical Project Manager

• We are looking for a proactive and technically sound APM with a development and/or QA background in the Storage or Server domain.
• Should have hands-on experience in managing projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving release cycle execution.
• Strong mix of technical understanding and project management skills to coordinate efforts across engineering, QA, and support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling defect backlogs, hotfixes, patch releases, and escalations.
• Drive the development and QA teams to ensure timely resolution of issues in line with SLAs and release timelines.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define and track release milestones, prepare dashboards, and monitor risk areas.
• Conduct daily/weekly standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives; maintain JIRA for tracking.
• Review the test plans, automation coverage, and regression cycles.
• Analyse project metrics and quality indicators to drive process improvements and reduce defect deferrals.
• Participate in release readiness reviews, go/no-go meetings, etc.

Required Skills :

• 7+ years of experience in Dev/QA roles, with at least 12 years of project coordination or APM responsibilities.
• Good experience in the storage/server or embedded systems domain (e.g., RAID, firmware, drivers, system management, Redfish/IPMI/SNMP).
• Strong knowledge of defect management, release planning, and sustenance engineering models.
• Hands-on familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and test/defect reporting systems.
• Exposure to agile methodologies and Scrum/Kanban frameworks.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills; ability to manage priorities across teams and time zones.
