As a Business Analytics Lead Analyst at our company, you will play a strategic role in contributing to the directional strategy by applying your technical expertise and commercial awareness. Your communication and diplomacy skills will be crucial in guiding and influencing colleagues to drive impactful business decisions and enhance operational performance. **Responsibilities:** - Gather operational data from various cross-functional stakeholders to analyze past business performance - Identify data patterns & trends to provide insights for enhancing business decision-making capabilities in areas such as business planning, process improvement, and solution assessment - Recommend actions for future developments, strategic business opportunities, and operational policy enhancements - Conduct exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis, and qualitative analysis - Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies - Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring new data sources, tools, and capabilities - Collaborate with internal and external business partners to build, implement, track, and enhance decision strategies - Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions to safeguard the firm's reputation and assets **Qualifications:** - 12+ years of experience - Experience in roles such as Operations Research Analyst, Analytics Manager, or Strategic Business Analyst supporting financial services - Proficiency in analyzing large datasets and applying mathematical, statistical, and quantitative analysis techniques **Education:** - Bachelor's/University degree; Master's degree preferred **Key Skills Required:** - Relevant industry experience in technology, product development, or related fields - Working knowledge and subject matter expertise in Wholesale Lending products or related areas - Experience in writing detailed business requirements and overseeing technology implementation - Proven track record in collaborating across different businesses, regions, or support functions - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a Product Owner mindset - Excellent communication skills up to the senior level - Advanced skills in Excel, database analysis/management, Word, and PowerPoint This job description provides a comprehensive overview of the role's responsibilities, qualifications, and key skills required.
