Job Description

Role Overview

Infinite Uptime is looking for a

Technical Pre-Sales Engineer

with 5 8 years of industrial/IoT experience to support our U.S. sales force from the Center of Excellence in India.

This role is

the technical bridge

between our product teams and U.S. enterprise customers, ensuring that proposals, pilots, and demonstrations are delivered with precision, credibility, and value. The ideal candidate blends

engineering depth with commercial acumen

, thrives in cross-border collaboration, and has strong exposure to industrial networking, SIM/IoT devices, and project-based solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Sales Support

Partner with U.S. Account Managers & Sales Engineers on technical qualification calls, discovery workshops, and RFP/RFI responses.
Tailor custom solution architectures that incorporate
IoT sensors, SIM-based networks, gateways, and PlantOS cloud analytics platform
.
Ensure all technical aspects of proposals are scoped, validated, and commercially feasible.

Demonstrations & Pilots

Configure and remotely deliver
IoT hardware/software demos
tailored to U.S. prospects, working as USA time zone hours.
Support proof-of-concept deployments from device/network setup to remote troubleshooting.
Provide clear documentation and training to ensure smooth customer handoffs alongside Customer Success team.

Proposal & Project Management

Manage technical proposals from start to finish: solution design, cost estimation, and delivery alignment with Sales & Solutions teams in USA.
Coordinate with product and engineering teams in India to incorporate roadmap items, customizations, & escalate requests for resolution.
Track and report on pilot project milestones, risks, and outcomes.

Center of Excellence Collaboration

Funnel customer/market feedback to CoE engineers and product managers.
Contribute to technical battlecards, integration FAQs, and ROI models for sales enablement.
