Role Overview

Technical Operator

Your role is critical to keeping workflows functional, minimizing downtime, and documenting fixes for continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

Backend Maintenance

• Set up and manage cloud GPU environments (Vast.ai).
• Install, update, and maintain dependencies (Python, libraries, drivers).
• Ensure ComfyUI workflows load and run correctly.

Troubleshooting

• Resolve issues such as missing nodes, dependency conflicts, or setup mismatches.
• Debug environment problems across various hardware setups.
• Minimize downtime with quick, effective fixes.

Documentation & Reporting

• Log bugs, errors, and fixes in detail.
• Provide regular updates on system health.
• Flag recurring issues for long-term solutions.
  

What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills

• Proficient with Linux (Ubuntu) command line.
• Python basics (reading logs, resolving dependency/version conflicts).
• Familiarity with ComfyUI, or eagerness to learn fast.
• Understanding of GPU cloud environments and their quirks.

Work Style

• Independent and reliable — able to own backend maintenance.
• Detail-oriented — documents problems & solutions clearly.
• Problem-solver — logical, systematic, and proactive.

Nice-to-Have

• Background in IT operations, sysadmin, or technical support.
• Prior exposure to AI pipelines (Stable Diffusion, LoRA, ComfyUI).
