Technical Operator

Amity Institute of Click Chemistry Research and Studies (AICCRS), Amity University, Noida is seeking applications for the position of Technical Operator for the NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) instrument. The position requires immediate joining with a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 40,000. Candidates must hold an M. Sc. degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Electronics, or a B.E/B.Tech degree in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering (Materials Science/Materials Engineering or related subjects) with a consistent excellent academic record. Desirable qualifications include work experience in handling NMR instruments, maintenance of scientific equipment, calibration knowledge, and the ability to provide training and support to research activities. Experienced candidates will be given preference. The Technical Operator will be responsible for the smooth operation of the high-cost NMR instrument. Duties include operating research instruments, training staff and students, maintaining instrument records, ensuring cleanliness and functionality of research labs, participating in installation and maintenance of instruments, designing and conducting experiments, and supporting research activities. Additionally, the incumbent will monitor instrument performance, arrange technical training sessions, analyze samples, lead training programs, collaborate with the Technical Coordinator for facility maintenance, assist in undergraduate teaching, and implement other projects as needed.
