Job Title:

Job Summary:

The Technical Officer will be responsible for overseeing the mix design, testing, quality control, and quality monitoring of ready mix concrete (RMC). This role will involve working closely with clients to ensure the delivery of high-quality concrete that meets project specifications, managing site operations, and providing technical support on-site for concrete placement and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Mix Design and Optimization:

• Develop, review, and optimize concrete mix designs to meet specific client/project requirements.
• Ensure the mix designs comply with relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS, ASTM, ACI).
• Monitor raw material quality and adjust mix designs as necessary.

Testing and Quality Control:

• Conduct and oversee laboratory and field testing of concrete (slump tests, compressive strength, etc.).
• Ensure that all testing procedures comply with national and international standards.
• Analyze test results and provide feedback for improvement or adjustment of concrete batches.

Site Operations and Technical Support:

• Coordinate with clients, site engineers, and project managers to ensure timely concrete supply and proper site handling.
• Provide on-site support during concrete pouring and fixing to ensure technical compliance and resolve any issues.
• Conduct quality checks at the project site to ensure concrete meets the required specifications.

• Experience:

  Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mix design, concrete testing, and quality control in a Ready Mix Concrete company or construction industry.

• Skills:

• Strong knowledge of concrete technology and mix design principles.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards (IS, ASTM, ACI).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and site teams.
• Proficient in MS Office and concrete mix design software.
