We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Power Electronics Design Engineer with at least 13 years of design experience. In this pivotal role, you will lead a multidisciplinary hardware team and be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of power electronics products, ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and continuous innovation. Key Responsibilities Manage the team of Electronics/Mechanical/PCB hardware team. Manage Product Evolution Process (PEP) topics, ensuring adherence to our design rules. Manage product maintenance and evolution topics (Quality, Obsolescence, Adaptation, QVE - Quality, Value, Efficiency). Investigate to identify the root causes of design issues, then find and implement effective solutions. Perform selection and dimensioning of active and passive components, providing clear justification for the design choices. Create electrical schematics and oversee PCBA design in collaboration with the PCB team. Conduct design tests on prototypes, performing debugging for compliance. Perform verification tests and debug the boards. Support the validation team during the testing phase. Provide internal advice and knowledge sharing, assisting with decision-making in technical topics. Master technical specifications, ensure knowledge and know-how capitalization, and stay updated on technological developments. Accelerate our digital transformation through the effective use of 3D simulation tools. Qualifications & Required Skills As a power electronics engineer with at least 13 years of design experience, you will possess: Management:Ability to manage the team of Electronics/Mechanical/PCB hardware team. Electronics & Power Conversion Expertise:Solid and proven knowledge in electronics (Power, Analog, and Digital). Solid and proven knowledge in power conversion and static converter topologies. Ability to work independently on the power conversion part of a drive, from concept to qualification phase (defining architecture, loss calculations, simulations, component specification according to standards, supplier relations, component qualification). Experience in magnetic component design for power (inductors/transformers). Understanding of EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) phenomena and mitigation solutions. Technical Tools & Simulation:Strong knowledge of simulation tools (Matlab/Simulink, PLECS, Spice). Proficiency in 3D simulation tools (Maxwell, CST, Flotherm, 6SigmaET) is a plus. Personal & Professional Attributes:Open-mindedness, analytical thinking, flexibility, and the ability to act independently and take responsibility. Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with diverse nationalities. Travel & Language:Occasional travel within France and abroad may be required. Proficiency in English is essential, French language skills are a plus
