Role & responsibilities

• Solve complex technical challenges, design application architectures, and implement proofs of concept
• Lead a technical team of 2 to 5 people and be responsible for the quality and timeliness of their deliverables
  
• Lead and oversee technical designs and implementations
  
• Collaborate with architecture, other technical leads, and managers on the best solutions given business requirements and constraints
  
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality standards, architectural patterns, and security requirements are adhered to
  
• Lead Scrum ceremonies such as planning, daily stand-up, and retrospective
  
• Work closely with Program Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Architects on the intake of development initiatives
  
• Use Azure DevOps and GitHub to manage application lifecycle, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Test Plans
  
• Provide coaching and mentoring for team members and assist the Development Manager with career development and performance evaluation for the team (this position does not have direct reports)
  
• Proactively identify, communicate, and propose solutions for issues or concerns that may impact projects and delivery deadlines
  
• Lead resource and capacity planning
  

  Requirements

Skills:

• Experience with

o SQL Server and CosmosDB

o Domain Driven Development

o CSS and JavaScript (Typescript)

o Infrastructure as Code, with proficiency in Terraform

o Architecting and designing applications

• Solid working knowledge of Azure
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum
• Strong ability to estimate development timelines and assign resource allocation
• Experience developing solutions leveraging Azure is considered an asset
• Experience modernizing legacy applications is considered an asset

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor Or Masters in Technology/Engineering

• Bachelor Or Master of Computer Applications

Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate

Experience:

• At least 6 years of experience as a.NET Developer with at least 3 years in a technical leadership capacity

• At least 3 years recent experience with Angular (v15+)

• At least 3 years experience building back-end services
