Technical Head , Warehouse Construction, Hosur Location

Job Purpose

To lead and oversee all technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring engineering excellence, quality control, compliance with codes and standards, and successful execution within defined timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership

• Provide strategic direction for all technical and engineering functions across construction projects.
  
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and best practices in design and execution.
  

2. Design & Engineering Management

• Review and approve designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
  
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and design teams for seamless project execution.
  
• Implement value engineering and innovative solutions to optimize costs and efficiency.
  

3. Project Execution & Quality Assurance

• Establish and monitor quality standards across all projects.
  
• Conduct regular site visits to review progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with drawings.
  
• Lead troubleshooting and problem resolution at project sites.
  

4. Team Development & Coordination

• Guide and mentor project engineers, site engineers, and other technical staff.
  
• Foster collaboration between engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  

5. Stakeholder Management

• Interact with clients, consultants, and government authorities to resolve technical matters.
  
• Provide technical presentations and updates to senior management and clients.
  

6. Risk & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal regulations.
  
• Anticipate technical risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Civil Engineering (preferred).
  
• 15+ years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership/technical head role.
  
• Strong background in high-value, large-scale infrastructure, residential, or commercial projects.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Deep technical knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and standards.
  
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
  
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  
• Proficiency in project management and engineering software (AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, etc.).
