Technical Head - (Network or ISP)

As a Network Technical Support Head (L2 & L3) at our forward-thinking enterprise in Gurgaon, you will play a crucial role in leading L2/L3 support operations. Your responsibilities will include incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and implementing permanent fixes. You will also be involved in configuring/troubleshooting switching, routing, DNS/DHCP, and WAN circuits such as BIA, ILL, and P2P. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing and optimizing network monitoring tools like SolarWinds and Nagios, as well as overseeing wireless LANs and devices such as SD-WAN, Fortinet UTM/firewalls, NAS devices, and MikroTik platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Lead L2/L3 support operations including incident resolution and root-cause analysis - Configure and troubleshoot switching, routing, DNS/DHCP, and WAN circuits - Manage and optimize network monitoring tools and wireless LANs - Oversee SD-WAN, Fortinet UTM/firewalls, NAS devices, and MikroTik platforms - Champion ITIL-compliant processes for incident, change, and SLA management - Coach and develop cross-functional support teams and liaise with vendors & customers Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Masters in Telecom, Computer Science, or Information Technology (Business Administration a plus) - Proven experience as an operations lead in the telecom or managed-services environment - Expertise in troubleshooting and escalation management - Hands-on experience with enterprise network tools and configurations In this role, you must possess a strong understanding of ISP networks, routers, and switches. Excellent partner handling and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in project management and analytical thinking. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills will also be beneficial for success in this position.
