Technical Head Battery Storage

Role & responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans for the implementaUon of baVery storage systems in renewable

energy projects.

• Evaluate baVery storage technologies and recommend appropriate soluUons based on

project requirements and objecUves.

• Lead the design and engineering efforts for baVery storage systems, including system

sizing, configuraUon, and integraUon with renewable energy sources.

• Ensure baVery system designs meet technical specificaUons, performance requirements,

and safety standards.

• Oversee procurement acUviUes for baVery storage components, including baVeries,

inverters, and control systems.

• Feasibility studies of sites, project management, execuUon, operaUons & maintenance.
• Technical due diligence, PG test, and performance analysis of projects.
• Tender cosUng and budgeUng, standard v/s actual budget comparison, variance analysis

& providing effecUve feedback for improving the system.

• Supervise installaUon and commissioning acUviUes for baVery storage systems, ensuring

compliance with design specificaUons and safety protocols.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards for

baVery storage systems.

• Provide technical support to project teams and field personnel during installaUon,

operaUon, and maintenance of baVery storage systems.

• Provide training and guidance to project teams and technical staff on baVery storage

technologies and best pracUces.

• Foster a culture of conUnuous learning and knowledge sharing within the organizaUon.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on baVery

storage systems.

• Deep understanding of baVery technologies, including lithium-ion baVeries, flow

baVeries, and hybrid systems.

• Proven track record of successfully designing, installing, and commissioning baVery

storage systems.

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage mulUple projects

simultaneously.

• Excellent communicaUon and interpersonal skills.
