Technical Director

As a Technology Lead, your role will involve leading technology initiatives for strategizing and owning Industry 4.0 and related business practices. You should have relevant experience in Industry 4.0 & IIoT. Your responsibilities will include: - Taking overall responsibility for end-to-end project execution & delivery within the planned schedule for multiple projects simultaneously - Understanding project requirements, disseminating them into individual tasks, estimating efforts, and planning accordingly - Upholding customer satisfaction through value-based delivery - Interfacing with global customers for project status accounting, task planning, and delivery - Defining and managing daily tasks and responsibilities of the project team, with the ability to lead 10-15 team members spread across multiple projects - Managing stakeholder relationships from cross-functional teams within the organization and external vendors/partners - Handling escalations from customers or internal stakeholders - Understanding the business pipeline through sales and senior management, defining hiring plans, and conducting interviews - Ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and participating in project audits by the SEPG group - Conducting annual appraisals, providing regular developmental feedback to the team, and identifying skill gaps to plan internal and external training - Fostering an open work culture to instill confidence in the team and encourage diversity of perspectives and sharing of knowledge Your area of expertise should include: - Industrial projects with manufacturing applications, controls, and analytics, with exposure to PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems - Working with industrial interfaces and protocols such as MODBUS, PROFIBUS, FIELDBUS, OPC UA - Overall project management & delivery - Risk management including risk identification, tracking, mitigation, and contingency planning - Customer communication especially with US and Europe based customers - Strategic account management and long-term growth - Embedded firmware architecture development for Industrial IoT (IIoT) domain - Various processor and microcontroller architecture expertise - Bare metal, RTOS, and device driver development expertise - Linux Kernel programming, device driver development, and multi-threaded applications expertise - Different distributions expertise such as Yocto and openWRT - C and OOPS Programming languages, data structure, and design patterns in C++ - Bootloader (U-Boot) development for embedded systems expertise - Wireless technologies experience including Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter, BLE, Threads, WiFi, and Sub-GHz - Debugging tools experience like KGDB, GDB, Valgrind, and static code analyzers - Networking protocols experience such as TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, HTTP, GSM, GPRS - Serial communication interfaces experience including RS-232, RS-485, I2C, SPI, MODBUS, and CAN - Embedded GUI Development experience, particularly with QT or similar frameworks, is advantageous,
