As a Technical Consultant specializing in Perl Development and Support, you will be responsible for hands-on Perl development on Unix/Linux systems in a support and development capacity. With at least 3-4 years of experience in the Financial domain, you will work in implementation, support, and development roles with a focus on Unix or Linux environments. Your primary responsibilities will include strong scripting in languages such as Bash and Perl, troubleshooting technical issues, engaging with clients, and assisting in software deployment processes. Additionally, your role will require good communication skills and the ability to synthesize complex information effectively. To excel in this position, you should possess knowledge in network protocols such as TCP/IP and Cisco, as well as familiarity with databases like Oracle and Sybase. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT/Computers-Software industry and will hold a degree in B.Sc, B.Com, M.Sc, MCA, B.E, or B.Tech.
