Technical Consultant - Perl Development and Support

You will be responsible for providing support and development in a financial domain environment. Your primary skills will include hands-on Perl development on Unix/Linux platforms. With a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the Financial sector, you will be expected to take on implementation, support, or development roles. Your knowledge of Unix or Linux systems will be crucial, along with strong scripting experience in Bash and Perl. Troubleshooting, client interaction, and software deployment will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Effective communication and synthesis skills will play a vital role in this position. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP and Cisco, as well as knowledge of databases like Oracle and Sybase. As a Senior Software Engineer in the IT/Computers-Software industry, you will be expected to have expertise in Perl programming, Unix, and Linux systems.
