And our team is ready for YOU To show the world what you can do, Mission of the Role: Develop and lead the product architecture of the ADAS functions to fulfil user requirements and achieve the desired business outcome Drive the creation of scalable, reliable, and high-quality designs while guiding development teams to shape our technology roadmap, Key Objectives of this Role: Scope and estimation: Translate Customer requirements into product-level requirements and architecture, Conduct technical and functional feasibility analysis, Influence customers by leveraging existing solutions and proposing innovative, business-aligned solutions, Provide accurate estimations meeting customer requirements, Analyzing and developing architecture solutions: Specify architectural requirements and conduct POCs for new designs, Perform trade-off analyses and maintain the system and software architecture, Review high-level designs, frameworks, and methodologies to ensure architectural conformity, Refine the architecture during implementation phases, Development, testing and implementation: Drive technical design decisions across scrum teams, Ensure alignment with overall architectural vision, Provide consultations on complex coding and deployment solutions, Advise on test strategies and analyze critical defects for quality improvement, Technical thought leadership: Lead technical discussions with internal and external customers to provide technical differentiation, Monitor market trends and upgrade domain capabilities, Create product architecture roadmaps and conduct workshops for various architecture teams, Publish technical papers and journals, Define architecture, review designs, and support software delivery, Foster technical thought leadership and build team competencies, Knowledge management and process improvement: Evaluate and select appropriate software/hardware integration methods, Develop criteria and evaluation matrices for product/technology recommendations, Simplify and streamline processes through automation and optimization, Create knowledge/certification artifacts and evaluation criteria, Mentor teams in building new competencies and provide technical training/workshops, Key Performance Indicators: Effort, memory, and cost estimations with a tolerance of 5% Schedule adherence, Internal sign-off on the system Continuous review of the architecture for improvements Reusability in architecture and & HLD (high level design) across projects (min 70%) Minimum or no issues related to the architecture and HLD, Quality of the designs Effective technical problem solving Design decisions documented per month, Number of new ideas documented and implemented per year, Percentage of effort saved, Number of reusable artifacts created, Number of workshops/technical competency sessions led, Key Year One Deliverables: Delivery within project budgets and schedule External Interactions: Minor customer technical interactions on a need basis Interacts and manages suppliers/external vendors, Internal & Nature of interaction: Collaborates with internal customers for requirements and architecture, design, team members for development, testing and implementation, Mentors and guides teams across departments to build technical skills and competencies, Qualification, Experience and Skills: Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field, 12+ years of experience leading large design & architecture of automotive embedded products is preferred, Experience of mentoring, guiding & coordinating project team of 10+members Hands on experience in vehicle network design is must, Works independently and collaboratively with cross culture multi-site teams, Communicates design rationale and build consensus to stakeholder, Prioritizes and manages work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment, Develops new approaches to complex design problems, Is organized, has an eye for detail and able to put across ideas in a tangible form, Should have high level of domain expertise, Key Leadership Behaviors: Lead from the Front Build Strong Teams Inspire Change Lead
