Job Description

Job Requirements We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect to join our consulting team. As a seed member in the hardware obsolescence team, you will play a crucial role in managing and mitigating obsolescence issues for our clients, ensuring the longevity and reliability of their products. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in a similar environment, with a strong background in reengineering, obsolescence management, change management, EMS management, and power electronics in medium voltage systems. Experience with AC drives is highly advantageous. The role will require occasional travel to Northern Europe. Key Responsibilities Lead the hardware obsolescence team, developing strategies to address and mitigate obsolescence issues for our clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve obsolescence challenges. Conduct thorough assessments of existing hardware components and systems to determine obsolescence risks. Develop and implement reengineering solutions to replace obsolete components with modern alternatives. Manage change processes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to ongoing projects. Oversee EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in hardware obsolescence management. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all projects. Develop and maintain documentation for all obsolescence management activities. Work Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in hardware obsolescence management, preferably within a similar industry. Proven experience in reengineering, obsolescence management, change management, EMS management, and power electronics in medium voltage systems. Strong technical background with the ability to analyze and solve complex hardware issues. Experience with medium and high voltage systems. Experience working with AC drives is highly advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with medium voltage drives or similar products. Certification in related fields. Show more Show less
