As a Technical Architect - Analytics at Simpplr, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing the data and analytics architecture. You will play a crucial role in defining the data strategy, designing scalable data pipelines, and implementing best practices for real-time and batch analytics solutions. Passionate about data engineering and analytics, you will drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your key responsibilities will include defining and owning the architecture for data processing, analytics, and reporting systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. You will design and implement highly efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data. Architecting and optimizing data processing workflows for batch, real-time, and streaming analytics will be a core part of your role. Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Analysts, and Software Engineers, you will translate business requirements into scalable data architectures. Staying ahead of industry trends, introducing modern data technologies, and driving best practices in data architecture, governance, and security will be essential. Conducting code reviews, enforcing data engineering best practices, and mentoring engineers to build a high-performance analytics team will also be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring data security, integrity, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR and CCPA will be crucial. You will identify performance bottlenecks in data pipelines and analytics workloads, optimizing for cost, speed, and efficiency. Leading cloud-based data platform initiatives to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and cost optimization will also be a key aspect of your role. To be a great fit for this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience in data architecture, analytics, and big data processing. A proven track record in designing and implementing end-to-end data platforms for high-scale applications is required. Expertise in ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, data warehousing, and stream processing is essential. Experience with BI tools, data visualization, and reporting platforms is also necessary. Deep knowledge of modern data technologies including Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, GCP, Python, SQL, Java, Scala, among others, is required. A strategic mindset, strong problem-solving skills, visionary leadership, effective communication skills, attention to detail, and agility in a fast-paced environment are qualities that will make you successful in this role. Preferred skills that would be beneficial include hands-on experience with AWS Public Cloud, Machine Learning Pipelines, AI-driven analytics, Kubernetes, Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for data platforms, certifications in AWS Data Analytics or Google Professional Data Engineer, experience with data security, encryption, access control mechanisms, event/data streaming platforms, and risk management and compliance frameworks.
