Strong technical accounting skills and in-depth understanding of ASC 606, 842, 805, 718, 350Analyze and document the impact of new accounting standards on internal accounting policiesTechnical evaluation and documentation of proposed transactions across the organization under accounting rulesSupport senior finance management with accounting policy developmentBuild excellent internal and cross functional relationships across the organizationDeliver GAAP trainings
Essential ResponsibilitiesReading, understanding and summarizing the contracts and write the accounting position papers in various areas including (but not limited to) complex revenue recognition, variable consideration, variable interest entities, business combinations, goodwill impairment, derivative valuation and accounting, stock based compensation, leases, etcApply independent and objective professional judgment in applying accounting standards to meet expectations including regulatory requirementsPresent the proposals and recommendations to senior managementBenchmark organizations data to industry data to make possible recommendations for Improvements
CertificationsCA and/or CPA
