Tech Lead- Backend Gen AI

Objective: We are seeking a strong backend developer with deep expertise in backend systems and a robust understanding of GenAI and AI Bot technologies. The ideal candidate will drive the architecture and development of scalable services, APIs, and intelligent conversational agents.
Key Responsibilities Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable backend systems using Java, Python, Go, and related technologies. Lead integration of GenAI APIs and AI-driven solutions to enhance user engagement and automation across business platforms. Build and maintain secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices to support rapidly growing product requirements. Design and implement data-driven systems supporting multimodal analytics and decision automation. Drive innovation with intelligent voice agents and AI-powered bots, leveraging frameworks like Spring Boot, WebSockets, and event-driven architectures. Utilize cloud infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes) for robust deployment and scaling of services. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, analytics, and design teams to deliver seamless and adaptive customer experiences. Own all stages of backend software development lifecycle with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability. Required Skills & Qualifications Expert-level programming skills in Java, Python, and MySQL. Deep experience with AI/GenAI integrations (e.g., using services like ElevenLabs, Gemini, custom LLMs). Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot, REST API design, microservices, and authentication/authorization mechanisms. Familiarity with AI Voice Bot frameworks/tools and practical experience building AI-powered conversational agents. Solid understanding of scalable architecture patterns, concurrency, design patterns, and problem-solving. Hands-on experience with monitoring, structured logging, and troubleshooting in production environments. Proficiency in agile methodologies and cross-team collaboration. Preferred / Plus Exposure to analytics APIs for business intelligence, and multi-modal data pipelines. Hands-on contribution to open-source AI/bot projects, or public code repositories (e.g., GitHub). Knowledge of speech processing, telephony integration (e.g., Twilio, Plivo), and customer journey mapping. Strong communication skills, able to translate AI/GenAI innovations into practical business impact. This role requires both solid backend engineering fundamentals and curiosity for state-of-the-art AI technologies, especially for GenAI applications and voice/conversational agents. The candidate will architect core systems that blend traditional backend engineering with next-gen AI-driven automation.
