Tech Lead - Artificial Intelligence

Job Title : Tech Lead AI Agents

Location : Hyderabad or Remote

Job Type : Full-time | AI-first Startup Environment

Experience : 4+ years, 2+ years in AI agent development preferred

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead the development of LLM-powered autonomous agents and tool-using workflows
• Manage and mentor a lean team of ML and software engineers
• Own the AI infrastructure pipeline : from data ingestion and training to evaluation and deployment
• Integrate open-source LLMs, vector stores, orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain, CrewAI, Autogen), and retrieval mechanisms
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design to align tech with business value
• Continuously evaluate new models, frameworks, and tools to improve performance and scalability
• Establish coding, documentation, and MLOps best practices within the team
  

Qualifications

• 4+ years of work experience in a technical field; at least 2 years building LLM-based applications or agents
• Proficient in Python, with strong knowledge of PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain, or similar frameworks
• Hands-on experience with autonomous agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-agent
  

• Deep understanding of LLM internals, prompt engineering, and model fine-tuning
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker), and deployment pipelines
• Strong leadership skills with a bias for execution in fast-paced environments
• Startup mindset : proactive, resourceful, and outcome-driven
