Job Description

The Teamcenter Developer plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of the Teamcenter PLM system, which is essential for managing product lifecycle data and processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and customization of Teamcenter solutions. You will be responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing Teamcenter solutions to meet business requirements. Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather system requirements and design solutions will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will implement and maintain CAD integration with Teamcenter and create ITK customizations and workflows to support business processes. As a Teamcenter Developer, you will perform system testing and resolve any issues or bugs that may arise. Providing technical support and troubleshooting for Teamcenter applications will also be part of your responsibilities. It is important to document system configurations, custom developments, and processes accurately. You will participate in Agile development processes and project planning. Staying updated with the latest Teamcenter releases, features, and best practices is crucial. Assisting in training and knowledge transfer to end users and support teams will also be a part of your role. Collaborating with other developers and cross-functional teams to optimize system performance is essential. You will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the Teamcenter system and contribute to the development of technical standards and guidelines. Supporting system upgrades, patches, and enhancements while ensuring compliance with security and data integrity standards will be key responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in Teamcenter development and customization is required. Strong proficiency in Java programming and ITK (Integration Toolkit) is essential, along with experience in configuring and integrating CAD software with Teamcenter. Knowledge of Teamcenter data model, workflows, and customization techniques is also necessary. Analytical skills to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions are crucial. Experience in Agile development methodologies and tools is preferred. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required, along with a strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and have experience in system testing, debugging, and performance tuning. Familiarity with version control systems, deployment processes, PLM best practices, and relevant certifications in Teamcenter or PLM technologies (e.g., Siemens Certified Professional) are advantageous. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also important.,
