Team Member - EHS

As a Safety Officer, your role involves ensuring a safe working environment by conducting safety patrolling, identifying unsafe acts and conditions, and taking necessary corrective actions. Your key responsibilities include: - Conducting safety patrolling in the Plant to identify and address unsafe acts and conditions promptly. - Performing Safety Management Audit Tool (SMAT) and Key Process Study (KPS) as scheduled. - Monitoring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance across all departments. - Auditing and reporting on the closure status of unsafe conditions, near-miss incidents, and safety activities. - Investigating and reporting near-miss incidents to the EHS Incharge. - Assisting in issuing work permits and ensuring compliance with permit requirements. - Supporting monthly safety theme-based activities and promoting incident awareness. - Reviewing CCTV footage to identify safety hazards and preparing reports for circulation. - Inspecting portable electrical equipment monthly and providing monthly code tags/stickers. Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver, strong communicator, analytical thinker. The educational and work experience requirements for this role are: - Educational Qualification: M.E. Industrial Safety Engineering (FULL TIME ONLY) - Minimum Years of Experience: 4 years in continuous process industry. - Nature of Experience: Knowledge in Industrial Safety, 5S, ISO Systems, EHS program development, risk assessments, training delivery, incident management, and exposure to WCM improvement techniques.
