Team Leader - MEP

Job Description This position involves working within the MEP Design & Engineering Team at Axium Global's Delivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai. The team consists of skilled professionals, including BIM designers, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers with varied experience. The BIM Designer will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed 3D models of plumbing and firefighting systems for various projects and will be working directly with leading MEP design consulting firms from the UK, USA, Australia and the UAE on flagship projects. Key Roles And Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of MEP engineers and designers and modellers providing guidance on technical issues and professional development Conduct performance evaluations and manage team workloads to ensure efficient project execution Coordinate the design and implementation of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire protection Liaise with other engineering disciplines, architects, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive project integration Collaborate with project teams to ensure models are coordinated and coordinated with other disciplines Develop and create custom families and templates for MEP components and systems Create accurate and detailed schedules for MEP systems Serve as the main point of contact for MEP-related client inquiries and project updates Prepare and manage the MEP project budgets and schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines Identify potential risks and propose solutions to mitigate them, keeping projects on track and within budget Prepare and present regular reports on project status, team performance, and financial health to senior management Qualification And Experience Required BE/BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field Minimum of 4 years of experience in MEP engineering within the AEC industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills Compensation The selected candidate will receive competitive compensation and remuneration policies in line with qualifications and experience.
