Job Title: Team Leader – Paint Shop Production

Location: Saudi Arabia

The Team Leader – Paint Shop Production oversees all paint shop operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The role includes managing paint processes, equipment, manpower, and quality standards across all coating stages.

• Supervise all stages: Pre-treatment, E-Coat, Sealer, Primer, Base Coat, Clear Coat, and Curing.

• Ensure production runs according to schedule and SOPs.

• Coordinate manpower, workflow, and material availability.

• Monitor and adjust paint parameters: viscosity, film thickness, booth temp/humidity, air flow, curing profile.

• Ensure correct paint mixing, handling, and color usage.

• Maintain process documentation and daily checks.

• Operate and troubleshoot robotic painting systems and spray guns.

• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive and corrective actions.

• Ensure booth, oven, and filtration systems run within specification.

• Inspect surfaces and identify defects (runs, sags, orange peel, fish-eye, dust).

• Support root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

• Monitor FTQ, rework rates, and defect trends.

• Enforce safety protocols, PPE, and chemical handling procedures.

• Maintain 5S and housekeeping in booths, ovens, and mixing rooms.

• Support Lean activities, waste reduction, and process improvement.

• Train and guide operators and painters.

• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure skill development.

• Promote teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field.

• 8+ years experience in OEM industry.

• Knowledge of robotic painting systems and paint quality control.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
