Job Summary:

Desktop Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and supervise the desktop support team for day-to-day IT operations.
Provide technical guidance in troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
Ensure timely resolution of incidents, requests, and escalations through ticketing tools.
Manage IT assets, inventory, and documentation for end-user systems.
Coordinate with vendors and higher-level support teams for hardware/software issues.
Implement and enforce IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
Handle VIP users and critical escalations with professionalism and efficiency.
Prepare reports on incident trends, SLA adherence, and team performance.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of
Windows OS, MS Office, Networking basics, and IT hardware
.
Experience with
ticketing tools and ITIL framework
.
Good understanding of
Active Directory, user account management, and remote support tools
.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle escalations effectively.

Preferred:

ITIL certification or equivalent knowledge.
Experience in handling a
Desktop Support team in a corporate environment
.
Exposure to
endpoint security, patch management, and VC meeting room support
.
