Team Leader Chemistry

As a Team Leader in Chemistry at PI Industries, you will report to the Group Leader and be responsible for conducting research activities to discover and pre-develop innovative molecules for crop protection and growth. You will lead Research Projects and guide a Project Team to design and synthesize target molecules efficiently. Your role will involve planning and proposing procurement requirements to ensure the smooth conduct of project activities. - Actively embody the values and philosophy of PI Industries - Contribute to the success of CreAgro Chemistry by driving innovation and team performance - Fulfill goals set by the Head of Chemistry and Group Leader - Ensure the security of intellectual property for CreAgro - Stay updated on chemistry knowledge through literature scanning - Support Group Leader with target setting and development of strengths - Work with the Team to achieve targets set by the Group Leader - Keep self and Team updated on synthetic chemistry developments - Document and report all research results effectively - Conduct synthetic experiments safely and efficiently - Update Group Leader on project progress and lab activities regularly - Collect data for SAR analysis and support Research Project Leaders - Develop positive relationships with other Teams and support groups - Participate actively in technical and functional meetings - Ensure Team safety, documentation, and reports - MSc/PhD in Organic/Analytical Chemistry from a reputed University/Institute - Post-doctoral research experience preferred - Substantial research publications and/or patents - 8-12 years of industry experience - Experience in multi-national environment and a.i. discovery projects - Experience in leading teams preferred - Knowledge of Organic Chemistry and IP - Proficiency in using search engines like Scifinder/Reaxys - Excellent experimentation skills,
