Job Title: Team Lead Video Annotation

Job Type: Full-time (Work from Office)

Location: Mysuru, Karnataka

Job Overview: We are looking for a proactive and experienced Team Lead to manage the operations

of Video Annotation Project. This role involves overseeing a team of annotators and quality analysts

working on long-format farm surveillance videos, ensuring the tagging of cattle behaviours, human

interactions, and operational events is performed accurately and in line with client expectations.

The candidate will be responsible for project planning, Preparing Roster Plan, performance

monitoring, quality oversight, and direct client communication. Strong leadership, communication,

and operational management skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end daily operations of the video annotation team, ensuring targets and quality

benchmarks are consistently met.

  • Oversee the workflow, ensuring adherence to SOPs, client encyclopedia guidelines, and

accuracy benchmarks.

  • Conduct daily team stand-ups, people management, monitor productivity, and ensure optimal

utilization of team bandwidth.

  • Review quality reports from QA team, identify recurring errors or knowledge gaps, and take

timely corrective actions.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client communication, attending review calls,

clarification sessions, and calibration meetings.

  • Collaborate with QA and training teams to address process gaps and implement continuous

improvements.

  • Prepare and present weekly progress reports including productivity metrics, quality trends,

and escalations to internal leadership and client stakeholders.

  • Supervise and support team members, fostering a collaborative and accountable work

environment/culture.

  • Ensure adherence to turnaround time (TAT), data security protocols, and internal compliance

requirements.

  • Should be prepared to handle multiple projects simultaneously, not limited to a single project

or domain

  • Monitor team members KPIs. Prepare & deliver performance reports wherever applicable on

daily/weekly/monthly basis.

  • Should be available for post-working hours calls, when required, to support urgent project

needs or client discussions across time zones

  • Open to working in a rotational week-off environment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in team management.
  • Strong understanding of annotation tools, quality monitoring systems, and SOP-driven

workflows.

  • Advanced proficiency in excel and documentation tools (Google Sheets, Docs) for reporting

and task management.

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills; capable of handling client discussions over

video calls and emails.

  • Expertise in data validation, structured documentation, and people management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Background in veterinary sciences,

animal husbandry, biology, or related fields is a plus.

  • Professional Experience: Prior experience of Minimum 1-2 Year in Lead roles within video

annotation or behavioural tagging projects preferred.

  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with US-based

clients via video conferencing.

  • Process Understanding: Exposure to performance tracking tools and productivity

dashboards.
