Team Lead - Medical Record Analyst

You will be joining LezDo TechMed as a Medical Record Analyst - Team Leader in our Health care medical-legal service company. Your main responsibilities will include leading a team of Medical Record Reviewers, ensuring accuracy and compliance of medical records, and ensuring smooth operation of the department. It is essential for you to possess strong leadership qualities, in-depth knowledge of medical record review processes, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance. You will lead, coach, and mentor a team of medical record reviewers to support their professional growth and development. Additionally, you will create a positive work environment by fostering recognition, empowerment, attentive listening, embracing diversity, and setting high standards for others to follow. Your role will involve assigning tasks to team members based on workload, prioritizing tasks to meet timelines, managing the review of complex medical records with precision and compliance, and implementing quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards of accuracy. Ensuring adherence to privacy and security standards, including HIPAA compliance, when handling medical records will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with project stakeholders to establish and refine processes for efficiency and effectiveness, and develop standard operating procedures to guide the team's activities. Furthermore, effective communication within the team and with other project stakeholders, collaboration with project managers, clients, and other departments, and meeting project goals will be essential. Your skills should include proven leadership in overseeing medical records analysis, attention to detail, expertise in managing data systems and healthcare software tools, analytical and critical thinking skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Requirements for this role include a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leading role, preferably in Medical summarization, proven ability to lead teams successfully, strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
