Job Description

Role Overview: As a Relationship Manager in the Corporate and Investment Banking division of DBS, your main responsibility will be to acquire and build a diversified portfolio within the IBG 4 segment. This portfolio should generate revenue from various sources such as assets, trade, cash, treasury, and fees, while maintaining an acceptable risk level for the bank. You will be expected to adhere to the lending guidelines set by the bank to achieve these results effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Source new asset relationships within the IBG 4 segment, focusing on companies with turnovers ranging from INR 200 crores to 600 crores, in alignment with the bank's lending policy. - Ensure a healthy Net Interest Income and fee income across the portfolio by actively cross-selling trade, liabilities, cash, treasury, and fee products. - Play a key role in increasing the profitability of the business and maintaining delinquencies at zero. - Implement and execute the IBG4 business strategy to increase market share, achieve targets, and reduce concentration risk in the portfolio. - Build DBS Brand Value and enhance network through marketing activities, collaborations, and events. - Comply with the bank's processes and policies and ensure positive ratings during audits. Qualification Required: - Overall, 8-10 years of experience in sales, with 6-8 years specifically in business banking and/or cash management/transaction banking. - Proven track record in asset business within the SME/Business Banking segment. - Knowledge of competitors and marketplace dynamics. - Market knowledge and experience in the SME segment is preferred. - Bachelor's degree in finance/economics/commerce, MBA, or CA qualification.
