Job Description

A Team Leader in the travel industry, particularly with an ex-India travel focus, will be responsible for managing a team of travel consultants or agents, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring client satisfaction. This includes tasks like leading team meetings, monitoring performance, providing training, and handling escalations. The role also involves ensuring compliance with company policies, meeting sales targets, and contributing to the overall success of the travel business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Leading, motivating, and mentoring a team of travel consultants or agents.
  • Performance Management: Setting goals, monitoring performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing feedback.
  • Client Management: Handling client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Sales and Operations: Ensuring team meets sales targets, managing workflows, and overseeing daily operations.
  • Training and Development: Providing training to new and existing team members, identifying areas for improvement, and facilitating skill development.
  • Compliance: Ensuring team members adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Reporting: Preparing reports on team performance, sales, and other relevant metrics.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency.
  • Travel Expertise: Possessing knowledge of travel regulations, visa requirements, and destination details.
  • Ex-India Travel Experience: Experience in managing travel arrangements for destinations outside of India, potentially with a focus on specific regions or countries.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and potentially other languages relevant to the target market.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in team leadership and management, particularly within the travel industry.
  • Strong understanding of travel operations, including booking procedures, ticketing, and customer service.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve targets.
  • Proficiency in relevant travel software and systems.
  • Analytical skills to monitor performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
