Teach IBDP Psychology (SL and/or HL) to students.
Create and deliver inquiry-based, student-centered lessons that develop critical thinking and psychological understanding.
Mentor students, especially with their Internal Assessments (IA) and Extended Essays (EE) when relevant.
Develop detailed lesson plans aligned with the IBDP Psychology curriculum.
Design formative and summative assessments consistent with IB assessment practices.
Support students in writing their Internal Assessments in Psychology.
Help students with Extended Essay work in the field of Psychology, if applicable.
Participate in department meetings, curriculum review, and cross-disciplinary planning.
Engage in professional development opportunities (IB workshops, peer coaching).
Lead or support extracurricular activities like psychology club, guest lectures, or student workshops.
Differentiate instruction to support students with diverse learning needs, in line with the school s inclusive education policy.
Foster a classroom environment that encourages openness, psychological safety, and mutual respect.
Bachelor s degree in Psychology or a closely related discipline; Master s required.
Experience teaching IB Psychology (SL and/or HL) is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of IB philosophy, assessment, and pedagogy.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Experience supervising student research or guiding academic writing (IA / EE) is a plus.
