Job Description

Teach IBDP Psychology (SL and/or HL) to students.
Create and deliver inquiry-based, student-centered lessons that develop critical thinking and psychological understanding.
Mentor students, especially with their Internal Assessments (IA) and Extended Essays (EE) when relevant.

Curriculum Planning & Delivery
- Develop detailed lesson plans aligned with the IBDP Psychology curriculum.
Assessment & Feedback
- Design formative and summative assessments consistent with IB assessment practices.
Student Support & Mentoring
- Support students in writing their Internal Assessments in Psychology.
- Help students with Extended Essay work in the field of Psychology, if applicable.
Collaboration & Professional Development
- Participate in department meetings, curriculum review, and cross-disciplinary planning.
- Engage in professional development opportunities (IB workshops, peer coaching).
School Community Engagement
- Lead or support extracurricular activities like psychology club, guest lectures, or student workshops.
Inclusive Education & Student Well-being
- Differentiate instruction to support students with diverse learning needs, in line with the school s inclusive education policy.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages openness, psychological safety, and mutual respect.

Job Responsibilities

Bachelor s degree in Psychology or a closely related discipline; Master s required.
Experience teaching IB Psychology (SL and/or HL) is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of IB philosophy, assessment, and pedagogy.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Experience supervising student research or guiding academic writing (IA / EE) is a plus.
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and collaboration.
