Teacher of geography

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to teach secondary-level students under the ICSE curricula. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, innovative teaching methods, and the ability to engage students in an interactive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver well-structured Geography lessons in alignment with the ICSE syllabus
• Develop engaging lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to enhance conceptual understanding.
• Use a variety of teaching methodologies, including maps, case studies, fieldwork, and technology-based tools.
• Conduct and supervise practical learning activities such as projects, model-making, and research-based assignments.
• Prepare students for board examinations, ensuring comprehensive syllabus coverage and exam-oriented guidance.
• Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and environmental awareness among students.
• Monitor and assess students’ academic progress and provide necessary support and feedback.
• Maintain student records, attendance, and performance reports as per school guidelines.
• Organize educational field trips, geography exhibitions, and extracurricular activities to supplement learning.
• Communicate with parents regarding students’ academic performance and progress.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to curriculum planning.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification: B.ED
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a ICSE school in Geography in Secondary class 6 to 10 Grade
• Skills:
• Strong command over ICSE Geography curriculum.
• Effective classroom management and student engagement techniques.
• Ability to make Geography interactive through real-world examples and case studies.
• Proficiency in smart classroom technology and digital teaching tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Compensation to be offered between 30,000 to 40,000 per month based on Interview
