Taxation Analyst

As a Taxation Analyst in the Finance department, your role involves managing and supporting the Banks indirect tax compliance and litigation activities under GST. This includes handling correspondence, audits, inspections, and appeals across jurisdictions (PAN India). You will be required to coordinate with GST consultants, conduct legal research, ensure accurate documentation and reporting, and provide advisory support to internal teams and stakeholders. Additionally, you will contribute to process improvements, knowledge dissemination, and risk management through contingent liability assessments and system updates. Your key responsibilities will include: - Attending to correspondence received from GST Authorities. - Drafting and filing replies to enquiries conducted by jurisdiction authorities (PAN India), preparing replies to show cause notices issued by GST Authorities, and drafting & filing appeals (PAN India). - Coordinating with GST Consultants of the Bank on enquiries made by GST Authorities and various appellate proceedings. - Submission of information in connection with GST audits conducted by departmental authorities (PAN India). - Ensuring peaceful conclusion of inspections, inquiries, and assessments conducted by GST Authorities. - Conducting legal research on on-going GST litigation. - Updating the cases pertaining to litigation on LMS portal and ensuring that all cases and relevant documents are available on the same. - Preparation of Contingent Liability working. - Assisting in replying to queries of units/verticals and vendors/customers from an indirect tax perspective. - Providing any other advisory related services to units/verticals. - Guiding various teams on ISD related requirements and streamlining the existing process. - Appraising internal tax team members on new updates in respect to amendment/circular/notification. - Utilizing strong analytical skills including proficiency in MS Excel. Educational Qualifications: - Graduate in any field - Professional Qualification: CA Experience: - Minimum of 2 - 5 years in Finance.,
