As a member of the tax services team at PwC, your role will involve providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. Your primary focus in the mergers and acquisition tax department will be to offer tax advice and guidance during mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions. This will include analyzing tax implications, developing tax structures, and helping clients navigate complex tax regulations for optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions - Develop tax structures to optimize tax outcomes - Assist clients in navigating complex tax regulations Qualifications Required: - 0-1 year experience in a Data Analytics role - Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools, specifically Alteryx (a must) and either Power BI or Tableau - Skills in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, or any other project management tool - Financial literacy with an understanding of accounting and key finance concepts - Professional accounting qualification - Certification in analytic tools - Experience with analytics/modeling using tools like MS Excel (including VBA), SQL, and RPA - Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines - Keen interest in technology solutions and implementing new ways of working - Excellent communication skills and personal impact - Commitment to continuous training and self-development At PwC, you will be expected to demonstrate a learning mindset, appreciate diverse perspectives, sustain high performance, actively listen, gather information effectively, and commit to understanding how the business works.
