Tax Specialist

As a Tax Specialist you will be part of finance & Accounting team based in Gurgaon, India. In this role you will be responsible to provide tax expertise in the matter listed below.

Please note that this is a contractual role.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Preparation and Filing of GST, TDS and Profession Tax Returns.
• Preparing GST Workings & Filing GST Returns & Also Scrutiny of purchase invoices.
• Filing any amendment under GST Portal & doing needful compliance.
• GST-Tax calculations & deposit & Return filling with Reconciliation of 2A, TDS, Income Tax, EPF, ESIC,LWF & PT.
• RCM Reconciliations / E-invoicing Reconciliation / E-way Bill RECO.
• Reconciliation between books & GSTR2B
• Accurate tax working on outward
• GST Audits
• Visit to GST department on need basis
• Replying to general inquiry letters issued by the department
• Undertaking various nature of reconciliations required under the GST law for the filing of Returns.

Required Skills:

• Graduates or CA/ICWA dropouts with Direct & Indirect taxation experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP and data extraction/ reconciliation from SAP is added advantage
• Knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, Tax Provisions, GST, TDS, and Income Tax is a must for this role.
• Good interpersonal skills to maintain rapport with the statutory authorities
• Understanding of accounting concepts and Working knowledge of GST, TRACES, and other Tax Portals.
• Working experience in similar role for 4-5 years
