Tax Manager

Job description:

• A Non-Profit Tax Manager is responsible for utilizing research skills, applying tax foundational knowledge to understand potential tax issues. • Gathering client’s information necessary for filing, participating in tax planning, recognizing and communicating potential risks, - • Working with tax software applications to complete moderate and Complex tax returns for review. • In addition to that they are responsible for managing work received on daily basis and help the Experienced managers to for proper work allocation of work, • Overall team management. • Leading kick off call and Scheduling call with US team along with Exp. manager. • Nominating team members for promotion and lead appraisal meetings of juniors and sharing feedback to Experienced Manager. • Detail and Technical Review of all types of 990 returns • Leading big 990T, 990PF and K1 Analysis and State returns engagements. • Training – New hires and experience team members and for theoretical and practical training (on the job training) • Helping Exp. Manager and AD for Recruitment process • Acting as Point of Contact from EDGE Team. Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or another relevant field required · Master’s degree in accounting beneficial, master’s degree in taxation preferred

Experience

· Eight (8) to Ten (10) years of prior experience · Prior required managerial experience required. · Prior return review experience with exempt tax return (Form 990, 990-T, 990-PF & K-1 Analysis and state returns) · Good knowledge of accounting skills including trial balance and journal entries and AFS and other client workpapers. · Good Knowledge of financial statements and the underlying supporting workpapers. · Good experience in software’s. · Team Management
