Tax Analyst

Position: Analyst

Department : Tax

Technical Responsibilities for Analyst – Tax:

• Preparation of Tax Returns (Simple to Complex) for US & India

• Familiarity with various types of US Tax returns (Individual, Trust, Partnership, Corporations {Small and C-corp}

• Tax planning & Consulting- US and India

• Handling Tax Controversy & Representation / Tax Notices – US & India

• Provide status reports periodically to the supervisor

• Analyse and research on tax topics

• Working closely with Senior Tax Supervisors

• Guide and undertake other projects as and when required

• Check the internal portal daily for document uploaded by the client.

• Download and save the documents in relevant client folder.

• Check for the integrity of the documents (Files are not corrupted).

• Analyse the percentage of the data received from the client.

• Analyse the data received is for open item or the source document.

• Notify respective person in charge about the document received from the client and assign the project based on the percentage of the data received.

• Update trackers and ensure each day’s updates are promptly posted

· Location: Chennai, Trichy, Chennai

· Education and experience: CA Inter, CA Qualified / Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience in Taxation. (India /US)

· Experience in US taxation is an added plus

· Proficient with business software tools such as Prosystem FX, Lacerte, Ultra Tax, CCH Engagement, Case ware and Microsoft Office applications

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹201,908.54 - ₹791,282.13 per year
