Description
As a Talent Consultant at EY GDS, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Talent agenda for a business unit within the organization. Your key responsibility will be to serve as the main point of contact for employees, counselors, and business unit leadership on various talent-related matters. You will drive the engagement agenda, collaborate with team members to provide change leadership, enhance workforce capability, and oversee talent management initiatives. It is essential to develop a deep understanding of the business unit's direction and talent-related issues to ensure the successful implementation of key projects and processes. Your Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Strategic Talent Consultant in creating a sustainable engagement framework for the business unit and ensure its successful delivery - Provide guidance to business leaders and counselors in implementing engagement initiatives - Proactively identify and address issues and needs within the business unit - Offer insights on people issues, including ER cases, and provide a clear perspective on business decisions and their implications on individuals - Ensure professional and effective delivery of people management and development activities to support the business unit - Lead project management for various HR initiatives such as Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Talent transformation, Talent Development, and Reward & Recognition - Facilitate change and support the implementation of special projects and initiatives within the business unit Skills And Attributes For Success: - Demonstrated business acumen and commercial awareness with the ability to develop actionable plans in alignment with the business unit's strategy - Strong influencing skills, change management capabilities, and a willingness to drive change - Client-centric approach with the capacity to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels - Extensive experience in Employee Relations, including complex disciplinary, grievance, and performance management activities, particularly with senior management - Ability to collaborate with other Talent Centre of Excellence teams to ensure alignment with business unit requirements - Proficiency in working with ambiguity and fostering consensus across diverse global groups To qualify for this role, you must have: - A graduate or post-graduate qualification in Business or Human Resource discipline is preferred - 6-8 years of proven HR generalist experience, including performance management and employee relations - Relevant experience in delivering/managing talent initiatives Ideally, you'll also possess: - Previous experience in a consulting organization or similar professional services environment - Exposure to working in a cross-border, virtual environment would be advantageous In addition to the challenging and rewarding career experience, EY Global Delivery Services offers a dynamic and global delivery network that spans across multiple locations.
