Tableau Developer

As a Tableau Developer, you will be responsible for creating and managing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. With a total experience of 4-6 years and at least 3 years of relevant experience, you should have strong proficiency in publishing and scheduling reports on Tableau Server. Additionally, your expertise in SQL and Data Manipulation will be crucial, as you will be required to write complex SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, and window functions, and handle data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics is essential for this role. You should be able to integrate Snowflake with other data sources and tools, as well as have familiarity with data warehousing concepts like star and snowflake schemas, and experience in designing and implementing ETL workflows. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights, troubleshoot data-related issues, and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders. It would be beneficial if you have a basic knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation, an understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques, and experience with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis and visualization. Your responsibilities will include developing impactful visualizations using Tableau, utilizing advanced SQL techniques, working with different databases for data integration, writing custom SQL queries, troubleshooting and debugging data-related issues, translating business requirements into workable data models and visualizations, implementing best practices for Tableau report development, performing ad-hoc analysis, providing training and support to end-users, and staying updated with the latest Tableau features and data visualization trends.
