Job Description

Job Brief We are seeking an experienced Technical People Manager to lead high-performing engineering teams and drive the successful delivery of complex technical solutions. This role requires a unique combination of strong technical acumenparticularly in Full Stack and React Native development and exceptional leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing projects, mentoring developers, and aligning technical efforts with business objectives. Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers and technical professionals. Cultivate a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team culture. Conduct regular performance reviews and offer growth-oriented feedback and coaching. Support the hiring, onboarding, and professional development of team members. 2. Project Management Plan, manage, and oversee the execution and delivery of technical projects. Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technology deliverables with business priorities. 3. Technical Oversight Provide hands-on technical guidance in architecture, design, and code quality. Enforce best practices in software development, testing, and DevOps. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes. 4. Strategic Planning Define and implement technical strategies to support product and business growth. Identify innovation opportunities and areas for performance or process improvement. Manage technical resources, tools, and budgets efficiently. 5. Communication & Collaboration Act as a bridge between technical teams and other departments including Product, Marketing, and Operations. Translate complex technical concepts into clear communication for non-technical stakeholders. Promote effective collaboration across internal and external teams. Work Environment Primarily office-based with flexible/remote work options. May involve occasional travel for team meetings, stakeholder engagement, or conferences. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, AWS, Scrum) is a plus. Experience: 10+ years of experience in software development with 3+ years in a leadership or management role. Proven experience managing full software development lifecycle projects. Technical Skills & Requirements Must-Have: Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in React Native . Experience building microservice-based desktop and mobile applications . Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery . Strong experience with: React Native (Mandatory) Node.js (Mandatory) Database experience with MySQL , MongoDB . Familiarity with web servers like Apache . Understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate with design teams. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. Good-to-Have: Experience with additional frameworks such as Angular or ReactJS . Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and DevOps tools.
