🔹 Advanced T-SQL Programming

Expert in stored procedures, functions, triggers using joins, CTEs, window functions, dynamic SQL

🔹 Query Optimization & Execution Plans

Hands-on tuning of multi-million row queries using indexing and execution plans

🔹 Schema Design & Normalization

Strong experience with schema design, normalization, key definitions, and indexing strategies

🔹 Transactions, Locking & Concurrency

Proficient with isolation levels, nested transactions, deadlock handling, and retry logic

🔹 SQL Server Tooling

Expert in SSMS, DMVs, Query Store, and Activity Monitor for diagnostics and performance analysis

🔹 Code Quality & Peer Collaboration

Experienced in code reviews, SQL coding standards, and collaborative development

Good-to-Have Skills

Azure SQL / Synapse
– Experience with migrations or hybrid SQL cloud environments
CI/CD for SQL
– Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and basic SQL deployment pipelines
SQL Unit Testing (tSQLt)
– Understanding of unit testing principles using tSQLt framework
Monitoring Tools
– Exposure to Redgate or SentryOne
SSIS / SSRS / SSAS
– Basic knowledge of SQL Server BI tools
