Job Description

We are seeking a highly capable Systems & Assembly Manager to lead the manufacturing operations, production systems and process improvement initiatives at Shavo Technologies. This role will be responsible for ensuring efficient, high quality, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing of Shavos broad product portfolio (air moving, static control, instrumentation valves & fittings, filters, etc.). The manager will oversee all manufacturing systems, drive operational excellence, manage people and resources, and coordinate with engineering, quality, supply chain and R&D.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Assembly operations: planning, scheduling, execution, capacity planning, resource allocation, throughput & utilization optimisation.

Implement and maintain manufacturing systems (ERP/MRP), shop-floor control, monitoring KPIs (OEE, quality yield, lead time, cost, inventory) and continuously improve them.

Drive process improvements: lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar methodologies to reduce waste, cycle times, defects.

Oversee quality control, ensuring products meet the relevant standards, design, and customer requirements.

Collaborate with engineering/design teams to ensure manufacturability of new products, cost-effective design changes, and smooth product transfers.

Manage production budgeting, cost control, investment in tools/machinery, maintenance of machines and plant.

Ensure safety, compliance with environmental, health & safety norms in the manufacturing facility.

Lead, mentor and develop teams of supervisors, technicians, and operators.

Coordinate with supply chain / sourcing to ensure availability of raw materials/components, manage vendor quality & supply reliability.

Implement systems for preventive maintenance, equipment calibration, and traceability where relevant (especially for instrumentation / high-purity components).

Support scaling and capacity expansion, layout optimization, and possible automation / digitalization initiatives.

Requirements:

8-10 years of experience in Assembly operations, systems & process improvement, ideally in instrumentation, pneumatic, air-moving, or related engineered products.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, shop-floor control, process metrics (cycle time, throughput, yield, OEE etc.).

Experience with Lean / Six Sigma / Kaizen or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience with tooling, machine maintenance, production layout, safety, quality systems (ISO, etc.).

Strong leadership skills: managing teams on the floor including supervisors, operators, and coordinating cross functional teams.

Good communication, planning, stakeholder management.

Analytical mindset, data-driven decision making.

Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-product environment, with varied product types (filters, valves, fittings, static control etc.).

Preferred: knowledge of instrumentation / fluid control / pneumatic equipment; understanding of high purity / precision manufacturing if applicable.
