Systems Engineer

What you'll do

As a Systems Engineer at Aule, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end development and qualification of satellite systems, ensuring seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, avionics, and software subsystems into a coherent, high-performance spacecraft architecture.

Responsibilities

• Analyse mission requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system design requirements
• End-to-end product realization process, including design, integration, verification & validation of system requirements
• Engineering trade study and compliance, technical trade-offs, and risk management
• System design and interface control (mechanical, electrical, electronics, software)
• Setting up reviews and planning milestones and gateways to track design progress
• Develop test plans and procedures to validate the performance and functionality of satellite systems
• Support activities of Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration & Testing including that of the ground support equipment
• Interface with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers as per program requirements

What we look for

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, or related discipline
• 3+ years of experience in spacecraft system development
• A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development
• Familiarity with systems engineering methodologies and practices, such as requirements analysis, system architecture design, integration, verification and validation

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in spacecraft systems engineering, Spacecraft design, or a related field, with hands-on experience in satellite design and integration
• Experience with satellite analysis tools such as Python, Matlab, STK, GMAT, or FreeFlyer
• Familiarity with ECSS, ISO, or NASA systems engineering standards
• Experience in fault management, FMEA/FMECA, or mission assurance
• Working knowledge of electrical power systems, GNC, or communications subsystems
• Exposure to radiation-tolerant design or space-environment qualification
