About us We are building the robotic workforce to unlock a sustainable in-space economy and expand humanity's reach in space exploration, starting with extending the life of satellites that are running out of fuel with our jetpacks. At the heart of this vision is our RPOD (Rendezvous, Proximity Operations & Docking) technology, a critical enabler for the future of space operations. We are looking for exceptional, mission-driven individuals to shape this technology from the ground up together with the founding team. What you'll do We're looking for a hands-on leader with a proven track record in building spacecraft GNC systems. You will own the end-to-end GNC stack-from requirements and architecture through design, implementation, and V&V, across simulations and flight hardware. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, hire and mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the overall technical strategy of our satellite programs. Responsibilities Lead the development of innovative guidance, navigation, and control systems for satellite rendezvous & proximity operations Develop high-fidelity 6-DoF dynamics simulation software for GNC analysis and validation Plan and execute testing of GNC utilizing hardware-in-the-loop, monte carlo analysis, and algorithm unit testing Oversee the integration of guidance and navigation sensors including rendezvous sensors, star trackers, and GPS receivers into the satellite platform Design and implement mission profiles and algorithms working closely with the mission design and software teams Contribute to system-level design trades and ensure seamless integration of GNC with other subsystems What we look for Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical or any related engineering discipline 5+ years of experience building spacecraft GNC systems Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, and Python Experience with GMAT, STK or other applicable astrodynamics tools Experience with control systems, filtering techniques, orbital mechanics, sensors and actuators, classical dynamics, and modeling & simulation Proven track record of end-to-end project delivery with the ability to lead cross-functional efforts and hit mission milestones You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, adapt quickly, and enjoy solving hard problems Preferred qualifications Previous experience in a senior-level or leadership role in GNC systems is highly desirable Demonstrated project or professional experience in spacecraft rendezvous and proximity-operations systems What we offer Competitive compensation including ESOPs Role based workplace flexibility ?Annual vacations ?Professional Mental Wellness Services Health insurance coverage Lead the GNC team that powers satellites to chase, capture, and dock targets - all without human intervention Global networking opportunities

What you'll do We're looking for a hands-on leader with a track record in building flight software for spacecraft missions. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of the flight software that commands and monitors our spacecraft. You will work closely with avionics, GNC, missions and other cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-reliability, high-performance software for our missions. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, hire and mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the overall technical strategy of our satellite programs. Responsibilities Design, develop and validate embedded spacecraft flight software system Lead the development of software for GNC, autonomy, fault management and other time-critical systems Select flight computers, and design overall satellite software architecture Architect and maintain a flight software to meet deterministic performance requirements in space environments Own simulation and test setups (HILS/SILS) to qualify flight software Contribute to system-level design trades and support flight software integration with other subsystems What we look for Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical or a related field 5+ years of professional experience developing C/C++ code for embedded systems in aerospace Experience with real-time operating systems or embedded linux in mission-critical environments Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware and/or software from scratch Proven track record of delivering flight software for spacecraft missions Experience with linux and shell command-line tools You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, adapt quickly, and enjoy solving hard problems Preferred qualifications Familiarity with Python, MATLAB/Simulink, NASA cFS Framework Experience in GNC Systems Previous experience in a senior-level or leadership role in flight software systems What we offer Competitive compensation including ESOPs Role based workplace flexibility ?Annual vacations ?Professional Mental Wellness Services Health insurance coverage
