System Engineer II

As a Systems Engineer II at Abbott's Mumbai location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division, you will be responsible for supporting Abbott's Remote Monitoring products for treating and monitoring cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure. Your role will involve ensuring effective monitoring of implantable devices via cloud services, the Merlin.net web application, and patient transmitters/mobile apps. You will work under general supervision to support testing activities, analyze system requirements, and resolve cross-functional issues. Key Responsibilities: - Execute system testing for web and mobile applications (Android and iOS). - Follow test procedures, perform manual and automated testing, report issues, conduct re-tests, and perform various testing types. - Contribute to the overall evaluation of product quality and maintain a comprehensive understanding of product fundamentals. - Operate within a quality system environment to ensure regulatory compliance. - Demonstrate accountability for assigned work and ensure high-quality product delivery by adhering to regulatory and process requirements. - Occasionally assist in maintaining the Remote Care Systems lab, including equipment and software updates. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Experience with general engineering principles and laboratory practices. - Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. - Quick learner with strong domain understanding, data analysis skills, and effective communication. - Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and leadership in troubleshooting and recommending quality improvements.,
