Systems Engineer Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Systems Engineer with expertise in MBSE

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of

  MBSE practices

  across engineering teams and programs.
• Develop system models, architectures, and requirements using

  Jama Connect

  and SysML-based tools.
• Establish end-to-end requirements traceability through design, integration, and verification.
• Collaborate with controls, navigation, mechanical, avionics, and software teams to capture system-level behavior.
• Support documentation and processes relevant to aerospace and UAV certification, including CEMILAC.
• Facilitate design reviews and ensure MBSE artifacts remain current and consistent across the program lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Aerospace, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Hands-on experience with MBSE methodologies and tools (Jama Connect, Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.).
• Strong understanding of requirements engineering, system architecture, and verification workflows.
• Experience in UAV or aerospace development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CEMILAC or equivalent defense-aerospace certification processes.
• Experience with safety/reliability frameworks and structured documentation practices.
• Knowledge of architecture standards (DoDAF/MODAF) is a plus.
